अनन्तसंसारसमुद्रतार
नौकायिताभ्यां गुरुभक्तिदाभ्याम्।
वैराग्यसाम्राज्यदपूजनाभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम्॥ १ ॥
Meaning:
I bow again and again to the sacred sandals of my Guru, which act as a boat to help cross the endless ocean of samsara (worldly existence), bestow devotion to the Guru, and confer the kingdom of renunciation.
कवित्ववाराशिनिशाकराभ्यां
दौर्भाग्यदावाम्बुदमालिकाभ्याम्।
दूरीकृतानम्रविपत्तिताभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम्॥ २ ॥
Meaning:
I bow to the Guru’s sandals, which shine like the moon over the ocean of wisdom, shower rains of blessings to end misfortune, and remove the suffering of those who bow before them.
नतयायोयोगीन्द्रवरार्चिताभ्यां
नित्यम् समाधादि सुभाषिताभ्याम्।
नमज्जनाभीष्टततिप्रदाभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम्॥ ३ ॥
Meaning:
I bow to the Guru’s sandals, which are worshipped by the greatest Yogis, always bestow divine teachings, and grant the desires of those who surrender to them.
नृपालयश्रीभरदिक्षिताभ्यां
नागेन्द्रकीर्तिस्तपसि स्थिताभ्याम्।
नमद्विधेर्भक्तिसमोज्ज्वलाभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम्॥ ४ ॥
Meaning:
I bow to the Guru’s sandals, which endow one with the wealth of divine knowledge, shine with the splendor of great penance, and radiate the light of pure devotion.
संपन्नसच्चक्षुष्मताम् समीत्य
सन्मार्गदाने करुणानिधानाम्।
राजादिराजाय विशारदाभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम्॥ ५ ॥
Meaning:
I bow to the Guru’s sandals, which bless the seeker with the vision of truth, lead them on the righteous path, and serve as a treasure trove of compassion and wisdom.
